Woodford Cricket Club is a family friendly club based in North East Cheshire/South Manchester and run four adult teams and several junior teams. We also have a thriving social calendar.
In 2015, the 1st XI will play their 5th successive season in TACS Cheshire Cricket League Division 2 following two succesive promotions in 2009 and 2010. The 2nd XI will once again be playing in Divison A of the TACS Cheshire Cricket League in 2015 having won Division B in 2014. The young 3rd XI will once again play in the Cheshire County League on a Sunday.
We run junior teams at u9, u11, u13, u15 and u18 age groups, playing in the Cheshire County and South Manchester leagues. In 2010 Woodford won both the Under 14 and Under 15 Cups in the South Manchester Junior Cricket League. We also provide coaching for the under 7s and try to provide as many friendly matches as we can for them.
The general public are welcome (and free!) to attend any of our games, junior and senior. Please see our FIXTURES for times, dates and details of all matches.
New members of any standard will be welcome at the club – seniors wishing to join the club should contact Mark Walker (club secretary) on markwalker@ntlworld.com and juniors wishing to join the club should either contact Mark or alternatively Karen Meese, junior coordinator, on karenmeese@hotmail.com
