We will be celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on Sunday 5th June from 2pm. Do come along and join us. This historic event will reflect on Her Majesty’s reign, and her impact on the UK and the world since 1952.
WWMCC will be marking the occasion on Sunday 5th June with tea, coffee, cakes, pimms, prosecco, community spirit and fun. Join us at the Centre from 2pm onwards to help celebrate this auspicious occasion. We are aiming for a convivial, relaxed event, Woodford Players will also be entertaining us with some humourous duologues during the afternoon and if we are blessed with good weather the kids can play on the field - what's not to like?
The event is free to enter, we simply ask for donations just as we do at our lovely Macmillan event in September. All donations will be divided equally and given to two local charities, Beechwood Cancer Care Centre and The Thursday Club in Bramhall.
